I'm a home-based hobby-breeder in Scappoose. OR. Newly retired, I have plenty of time to spend with the pups, who are raised in the center of my home. No Kennels! I am very hands on, with daily active enrichment and play-time. Both parents are my personal pets and the pups even receive regular attention from Bob The Cat. So they will go home well-socialized and will be quite adaptable to any home living situation.

Both parents are on-site and have been health checked by Scappoose Animal Hospital. Mom is an F1 Goldendoodle (the product of an AKC Golden Retriever and an AKC Standard Poodle). These are the most desirable Golden Doodle iteration. Since they are 75% Poodle, they are non-shedding, and benefit from 'Hybrid Vigor'. All Doodles are not created equal. Different generations have a different overall appearance, different characteristics. Riley, the mom, is a first-generation Golden Doodle: Like most F1's she has a distinctive "Golden Retriever Mix/ Sporting Dog" appearance. But the Golden Doodle "look" favored by most are dogs with a more rounded face,

Riley, the mom, is a first-generation Golden Doodle: Like most F1's she has a distinctive "Golden Retriever Mix/ Sporting Dog" appearance. But the Golden Doodle "look" favored by most are dogs with a more rounded face, a more blunted snout and are overall more "Poodle-ly" in appearance. If this is you-- then you've just found your pups! Riley was "back-bred" to Teddy, an AKC Standard Poodle, 85% red. Thus, these pups are "F1b" Golden Doodles-- 75% poodle and 25% golden retriever. Take a look at the pictured pups from Riley and Teddy's last litter. If this is the look that comes to mind when you think "Golden Doodle"-- you want an F1b!
